Le Nordais' Familly
Gregor Uth Matar (Father)
Gregor Uth Matar (Mishamont 4, 299 AC - 325 AC ?) married Rosamun Aelan in Palathas and together they had a son named Le Nordais one a daughter they named Kitiara. Gregor had family in Solamnia, but most will not claim him from some past evil deed of his.
It was known that he had a sister who married a wealthy noble from Lemish named Nellthis. He was frequently in trouble, always in debt, and a known womanizer, leading to his dismissal from the Knighthood for disgraceful behaviour (something to do with a woman).
Gregor was also known to have been over six feet tall, about 187 pounds, muscular body and limbs, short raven-black hair that curls closely around his head, a quick smile, brown eyes, and a full, luxurious moustache. He also had a regal and handsome look to him, and a roguish smile when the right side of his mouth rises. Gregor always had little use for anyone that didn't handle a weapon well. His mount in the year 325 AC was named Cinnamon.
For an unknown reason, in 325 AC, Gregor packed up and left, never to return to either his family or Solace.
Rosamun Aelan (Mother)
Rosamun Aelan (304 AC - 342 AC) was born and raised in Solace. She first married a roguish mercenary named Gregor Uth Matar while she was temporarily working in Palanthas. Together they had a son named Le Nordais and a daughter named Kitiara Uth Matar. They moved to Solace in 319 AC.
After Gregor left her, she married again to Gilon Majere in 327 AC. They had no children. She was also had one sister named Quivera Aelan.
A few years after her marriage to Gilon, Rosamun started to suffer strange trances and she was chronically abed with fever and imagined ills. Before that she was known to have been a good cook. Rosamun was beautiful in her youth, with blonde hair, and was honest.
Over the next five years, she continued to waste away. Her blonde haired turned a ghostly white, her face shrunk in, and she had immense, spooky eyes. She would sometimes become normal for a time, but would then drift back off into a trance. Her son Le Nordais and daughter Kitiara took care of her as best they could.
Following the death of Gilon in 342 AC, when a tree fell on him, Rosamun went into another trance. This one, she does not return from and she dies within a few days of Gilon's death in 342 AC.
Gilon Majere (Stepfather)
Gilon Majere (? AC - 342 AC) was a woodcutter in the village of Solace. He had brown eyes that had a sadness to them, broad, kind face with a cheerful, placid expression, and thick brown hair. Gilon was very secretive about where he would go to chop wood. He would leave his home before dawn with his dog Amber, and head out to the woods to cut wood until very late at night.
Gilon married Rosamun in 327 AC, and about five years after the marriage, she started to go into trances for long periods of time. Even though Gilon wanted to stay home with his family, he would have to go and make money for the family. Gilon's stepson and stepdaughter took care of there mother as best they could.
Woodcutting was a very hazardous job, and eventually those hazards would catch up with Gilon. In 342 AC, Gilon was out in the woods near Prayer's Eye Peak cutting when a storm hit. A tree fell on him and he was crushed and died. Gilon was buried, and a Vallenwood Tree planted over his grave.
Following the death of Gilon, Rosamun goes into another trance. This one she does not return from and she dies within a few days of Gilon's death.
